Road Biking

Chamonix provides the perfect spot to explore some of the most spectacular road cycling around, including nearby ‘must have’ Cols such as Columbiere, St Bernard and Galibier.

There are few places in the world to match the scale of the climbs and descents available in the valley.

For the less ‘energetic’ cyclists the valley floor offers a beautiful and relaxed area to explore the towns and villages that lie along it.

The Tour de France normally passes nearby making Chamonix an ideal base to watch these stages of the race.

Mountain Biking

There are trails to suit all levels of ability and for the experienced rider there is a wealth of high energy, technical and steep riding.

The valley is covered with a network of great, well maintained tracks. There are also 6 separate lift systems which cater for bikes and Chamonix boasts a rideable vertical range of over 2000 metres.
